Wireplane stores the data you give it to provide the service. You can export everything and delete your account at any time.
What we collect
We collect and store the following:
- Designs, kept on our server: Each design you save: its name, its paths (lines, arcs and curves with millimetre coordinates and a wire gauge per path), where wires join and bend with any bend radius, mirrored pairs, and notes. Each design belongs to your Lotl Auth account id and only you can see it. No IP address is stored with a design.
- Usage telemetry: Page views, reported as the route pattern (/, /designs or /designs/:id, never a design's id), and errors the app throws, plus counts such as how many paths a saved design has. Sent to Lotl Observe. Never a design name, notes or coordinates.
- Staying signed in, kept in this browser: Only if you sign in: the Lotl Auth SDK keeps your access and refresh tokens, when the access token expires, and your account details (lotl_access_token, lotl_refresh_token, lotl_token_expires, lotl_user) in localStorage, so you stay signed in. Signing out removes them.
- Your theme, kept in this browser: Your light, dark or system choice (wireplane.theme) in localStorage. It is never sent anywhere.
- Wireplane accounts: Your Lotl Auth account id, which is the owner of each design, and the email address and password hash that Lotl Auth, our own sign-in service, holds. Lotl Auth sends the confirm and reset emails. Deleting your Lotlsoft account deletes your designs here.
Your rights
You can export everything we hold about you, and delete your account at any time. Both options live in your account settings. Deletion is immediate and unrecoverable.
